Voter registrars in Charlottesville and Albemarle County are getting ready for a hectic election season, as state laws are switching up how polls are run and how voters cast their ballots.
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has signed into law a bill that allows retail alcohol sales on Sundays and some holidays. Andrew Doba, a spokesman for the Democratic governor, said Malloy signed the bill on Monday. He said a more formal announcement is planned later in the week.
